    Last/Longest Flight

Well we have one for road trips, I thought I'd start one for flights. Might not do too well, but I thought I'd try it.

Longest for me would be Sydney to Los Angeles. 13.5 hours or so.

My last flight would have been from Oakland back to KC.

    Re: Last/Longest Flight

Well, I flew from Charleston, WV (Charley West to air traffic controllers) to Houston, TX on an RJ, then from Houston to Honolulu, HI on a Boeing 767. I don't remember exactly how long it took, but it was quite a few hours.

The last time I flew? I don't believe I've actually flown since July 2007 from Charlotte, NC to Gainesville, FL (the site of the Tebow). I need to fly again!

Last - 2 1/2 hours to Florida for my senior trip
Longest - 4 hours to Florida w. my parents (this one we had a stop somewhere (atlanta i think), and the weather was bad so we had to wait two hours in the Atlanta airport to transfer to the second plane)

        Re: Last/Longest Flight

Last-Back in June when I flew from DC to Indianapolis with a stop over in Detroit. About a 5-5 1/2 hr flight.

Not really a big fan of flying but only reason I went was because it was for this job I had starting up at the time.

Last: San Francisco to Long Beach, it was like 55 minutes or so.
Longest: 6 hours from Los Angeles to Washington D.C. (I forget if it was the flight to LAX or from LAX that took longer)

Probably about an 8 hour flight.

It usually takes longer to fly east-to-west since you're flying against the jet stream and west-to-east wind flow, so the flight from DC to LAX probably was the longer flight. I went to Seattle back a couple weeks after 9/11 and it was about an hour shorter flight coming back from Seattle than going to Seattle from Charlotte.

Last- Cincinnati to Denver on my way back from Greensboro, NC last weekend.

Longest- Chicago to Aruba. I don't really remember how long the flight was, but it wasn't that bad.

The last time I flew was the way back from a football game from Houston to Tulsa.

Longest was...I have no clue. Maybe Chicago to New York, Tulsa to Atlanta, or Tulsa to Salt Lake I haven't really had too many long flights, I guess.

Last flight - Honolulu to Seattle and back on a 757-300. About 5.5 - 6 hours long.

Longest flight - Honolulu to Chicago back I think in 1998 on a DC10, about 8 hours long.

                            20+ hours multiple times.

                            From SoCal to Okinawa, Japan.

From SoCal to Kuwait.....twice. The horrible thing about that flight is that you start off in California and have to go across the U.S., over the Atlantic, stop at the U.K., stop in Prague, and then down to Kuwait.

My last flight was from D.C. to LAX. About 5-6 hours depending on wind and weather.

My last was my longest... from Pittsburgh Int'l to Cincinatti, Cincinatti to Las Vegas. We went back to Pittsburgh from Las Vegas with a layover in Salt Lake City.
