    Re: Front Page of CNN

Some of you are going overboard by saying CNN isn't a serious news organization. I'll do a blog entry on it so I can fully make my point but as a preview let me just say that CNN is still the first place most people go for breaking news events. Over the course of the Mumbai bombing news coverage CNN led in the 25-54 demo over the three days of coverage and won the Thursday rating overall. FNC still had the most viewers from sign on to sign off but if anything CNN is the first place most people go when there's breaking news of huge import.

As for other news sources. I like the BBC as well as the Jim Lehrer News Hour. If you like international news you guys should check out Martin Savidge's show on PBS called WorldFocus. It's an international news show through the lenses of America. It's a good concept as it takes what's totally foreign to a lot of people and tries to bring it home.

It's one of the most straight news broadcasts around.

Gonna lock this because it's starting to become political. If you guys want to continue the debate, head over to SPTO's blog and feel free to comment there.
