My favorite National Anthem ever....
These Jr. High School girls have talent and sang the best National Anthem I've ever heard. Give it a listen...

Re: My favorite National Anthem ever....
They have good voices. But someone really needs to teach them about vowel shape. Most egregious examples being "and bright stars" and "ramparts we watched".
Very impressive for junior high though -

I like the Southern inflection. It's kind of Dixie Chicks meets Point of Grace. I'm gonna have to look them up on YouTube. Their harmonies are incredible, especially for girls so young. Their pitch and clarity of tone are also exceptional.Note to Tiburon Marketing:

To be honest with you the American anthem is one of the hardest to sing and carry a tune with. I truly think the official anthem should be "America the Beautiful"Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: My favorite National Anthem ever....
You didn't specify what national anthem, so I'm going to post my actual favorite anthem. I know the Soviet Union was evil and a Communist country and I'm glad they were finally wiped off the face of the Earth in the early 1990s, but I still love their national anthem. Communist anthems tend to be impressive (and they do for a reason).

Re: My favorite National Anthem ever....
I didn't realize where they were from at first. It is just their southern accents. But for someone like me, who is used to the upper Midwestern "Minnesota" choral sound, it's just not the same. Still very very impressive regardless; just a different preference.Comment
