Your story reminds me of the time my friend got into a car accident with his own mother. They were both out shopping for their own whatevers, and he approaches a four-way intersection where he has stops and the other two ways don't. Instead of stopping like most people normally do, he sort of just coasts out there, like yielding to traffic, then BAM! Tea-bagged by his own mom...

I have yet to get into an accident, but I've had a flat tire incident on the highway where I reacted too instantly and slammed on the brakes, so I had a little swerve off to the side of the road.

I've only been in a couple, none were bad fortunately.

In middle school I sprained my knee playing basketball and my parents were taking me to the emergency room to get it looked at (damn over protective parents) and some guy slide on ice and rear-ended us. We were only going about 20 MPH so it wasn't bad.

Getting onto the Merritt/Hutch got me once, I was at the stop sign on the on ramp, thought the guy in front of me had pulled on to the highway but he didn't, so when the next space came I was still looking over my left shoulder and floored it - unfortunately he was still in front of my and accelerated a lot slower, lol. Nothing too bad, though the guy was really pissed. It is comical how many people do this, driving on 15 you will see so many cop cars right at on ramps with two stopped cars due to a fender bender.

About five years ago I was on the NJ Turnpike right in front of the Meadowlands, my boy was driving us home and he tried to change lanes in a real bad snow storm, we spun out and slammed into the Jersey barrier in the middle of the highway and were facing the wrong direction when the car finally stopped. Thankfully no one was that close to us or it coulda gotten ugly. I broke my finger on the dashboard but I'm glad that was the only damage.

Been in one and it was the other person's fault, they rear-ended me at a stop sign. How I'll never know I was at a complete stop and the person just runs into the back of me. Had to go to the chiropractor for about a month got my check from his insurance and it was all good.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad you said tea-bagged - it was funny. The story, not so much... Ironic, maybe. Unfortunate, yes. Had she indeed put her "bag" on his head, then we have a funny story. Disturbing, but funny.

Luckily, I've never been in one. People laugh at me for looking both ways when I pass through any intersection - even when I'm stopped and the light turns green, I look both ways just like I'm walking; and I always slow down when I see someone doing something strange. Been lucky enough to avoid a few things that could have happened if I hadn't done those things.

Actually, I was in one. Forgot all about it. On the bus in 5th grade, someone rear-ended us at a red light. It was a smaller car, so it was under the bus up to the windshield of the car. I didn't feel a thing. The driver had to say "Did someone rear end us?" before I realized anything happened.

My friend and I were in one this past Tuesday. We had just got done skating and my friend's truck, which he bought Monday, was leaking brake fluid, but he thought it was just gas so he didn't think anything of it. As we pulled out of our parking spot, Mikael Samuelsson of the Detroit Red Wings came through the parking lot (he was cutting through spots) and my friend tried to stop, but since the truck was completely out of brake fluid, he ended up hitting the back of Samuelsson's car. It wasn't bad or anything, we were only going like 5 mph. It was certainly an interesting way to meet an athlete...

I rear-ended someone about a year ago in my school's parking lot because they started accelerating than quickly stopped. No damage to their truck, but it certainly damaged my car.
