This sucks...we are going to remain without our oven for another two weeks. As I posted in my [unread] blog our oven lighting element went out and it was more cost effective to replace the whole unit. Naturally, the one we picked had to be ordered, so we are stuck with a range top and the broiler until God knows when. It's amazing how limited I feel when I'm cooking for the family now.

No homemade pizza, no egg rolls, no fresh bread with pasta, can't make lasagna, oven roasted chicken...nothing! At least it's cold so we've had a soup/chili night or two...cheap to make (none of that crappy Progresso and ****) and delicious!

BTW, Sunday-Wednesday is going to be hell up here. I might just call out of work Tuesday and keep my butt in the bed.

UMD decided that it would be a good idea to have class on Tuesday.

Even stupider was my teacher's idea of having a paper due that day with no online submissions. I tried to tell him "yeah, nobody is getting anywhere near here on Tuesday", but he dismissed me.

He commutes so I'm planning on showing up about an hour late (it's a 3.5 hour class), finding out that he's not at class, and bouncing out that bitch.

Take the normal idiot tourists, multiply their number by 50, and add law enforcement, and you've got a recipe for fun and excitement.

I'm of the opinion that once a person turns 65 they should have to take a driving test every 2 years to continue to be able to drive. I guarantee you a lot of people over 65 could not pass a driving test.

I'm of the opinion that once a person turns 65 they should have to take a driving test every 2 years to continue to be able to drive. I guarantee you a lot of people over 65 could not pass a driving test.

Even if they do that, it won't do any good unless the test is tougher than it is now.

My Grandmother is 80 (Somewhere around there), and she passed her last driving test without a problem. However if you've ever been in a car with her, you'd wonder how in the world she managed to do that.

About teeth grinding and all that. Did you just go and get one of the mouthguards from a local store that you boil and form to your mouth? I know the dentist offers a custom fitting one but the price is a joke
