Re: OS Off Topic 2009
My sister is the biggest ******* on Earth.
She bought a dog in August, as well as started community college (commuting). She was going to start a nursing program this semester, but now she has decided she is going to transfer to a different community college so she can live in the dorms. An absolute waste of $8,000 (that's just room and board), just so she can live in the dorms.
The economy is going to hell, she has no job, the community college here offers the same degree, she has a dog....and she decides to move three hours away so she can go dorm at a community college.
Now I am going to feel like crap, because I have to go back to school next week and that means my Dad is going to have to be the one who has to take care of the dog (neither of us wanted it), and I'm not going to be here to help. Not to mention the fact that he has to go in for surgery in the coming days, which means he will be out of work for a few weeks. So he will be home by himself, with no one to make sure he's okay, having to baby sit a dog he didn't want in the first place.
I understand her wanting to experience living in a dorm, but I can't comprehend how she can do the things she does. She literally threatened to move out (wish she would have) if my parents didn't let her get a dog, and my Mom caved and said okay, and then five months later she decides to leave.
But, on the bright side, at least my parents won't have to put up with her bull**** for a while. That is, unless she decides she can't handle it and comes back...which I expect.Comment

To add onto that.
What make's it all the more hilarious is the fact that she decided to transfer yesterday. Orientation is tomorrow and classes start on Monday.
Stupidity.Comment

Re: OS Off Topic 2009
My Mom, while I love her, doesn't have the assertiveness to confront her. For some reason, she just stopped taking the initiative to confront her about her behavior. She used to do so, but around my sister's senior year of high school (last year), she stopped. Probably because she thought she would have grown up by now, and in order to not "hurt her feelings" and in fear she would move out, she bit her tongue.
My Dad, on the other hand, would love nothing more than to get in her face and put her in her place. But, my Mom has continually told him not to do so, as if he did, we all know she would flip and we wouldn't see her for days.Comment

I will give her the benefit of the doubt and say she'll make it through the semester, but I would not be surprised in the least if she decides she doesn't like it and comes home by semester's end.Comment
