Found out that I have to take some certification classes for work, but that they have to be taken on my own time. Sucks since they probably wouldn't help me if I ever look for another job.

Found out that I have to take some certification classes for work, but that they have to be taken on my own time. Sucks since they probably wouldn't help me if I ever look for another job.

The fact that these classes are to be taken on our time is raising some complaints in the office (not by me). Could be interesting the next couple of days...

How'd surgery go?

Actually pretty well. No blood, no bruising. Plenty of soreness and swelling though.

Only on Tylenol now, so no more good pills for me.

Easier said than done. Im making a good chunk of change and have the ability to work up the ladder. I dont think any real jobs are fun. I'd always rather be playing golf, or soemthing like that. Plus, at this point its not just about me, i have to support my wife also (financially). Gotta lvoe having to think about someone other than yourself.

I mean, you could still work and search for a new job. But I'm sure your motivation isn't too high because like you said, you're making good money and it'll just be another thing on your plate. As long as you don't want to kill yourself when you go to work (all the time, at least ), you should be fine.

That's something I learned. Don't quit a job without one lined up already. Live and learn...
