I feel so distant from the world lately. I dunno what's wrong with me "sigh" Hopefully I cheer up in the next few days.

Oh and i'm sure a ton of people are eating crow over that Bama/Utah game. I've heard some people say it was a worse matchup then the Georgia/Hawaii game last year.

She sent me a text at some point today(I don't know when since I turned my phone off since if we weren't talking until Sunday, there was no need for it to be on) that said "I think its best we don't go out anymore. I don't want to lead you on anymore and I don't want to be in a relationship."


In a ******* text message. What in the ******* hell did I do to deserve that? Tell me that. Tell me how after EVERYTHING I did for her, that I deserve to not be told in person or even on the phone but in a ******* text message.


I don't get it. I just don't ******* get it. I don't know...I'm beginning to wonder if I should even try anymore. Everyone around me seems to meet girls and have it develop into a relationship and they're happy, with such little effort. And I tried pretty hard with this one and I got nothing but heartbreak out of it. '08 started with me getting crushed by a girl who used me for getting over her fear of getting hurt by guys(she wasn't ready for a relationship again was her excuse for us splitting up) and I end '08 getting crushed by a girl who told me all throughout the holidays that she missed me and wanted to see me, that she doesn't want to be in a relationship with me.


Even when I do get over this girl, the next few girls that I date have no shot of getting close to me.

Wow Husker, just saw your post there. That's the problem with all this technology. People are more likely to turn yellow and just use the convenient text/e-mail to break news like that and it's the wrong thing to do. If that had happened to me i'd be just as pissed as you are.

Anyone know of any exercises or anything to try to avoid thinking about things too much before you do them? Aside from alcohol? I've unofficially made it my New Years resolution to quit psyching myself out by thinking about things too much before I do them. I'm thinking specifically about talking to girls and stuff like that. I always think WAY too much about the consequences and it keeps me from pulling the trigger.

I know it should be as simple as "just do it before you start thinking about it," but it's like I've slipped into some sort of bad habit. I'm just trying to get over this lack of self-confidence so I can get my D wet.
