Tomorrow I go for an ultrasound for my mystery (probably kidney stone) problem YAY! (not)

I'm feeling pretty cold and last night I was so hungry for a snack but there was nothing much so I had the last bit of spaghetti sauce and ate it with crackers. I know pretty weird eh?

There were 6 guys including me. So about a 12:1 ratio of girls to guys.

Human Development 101 is the only class I've seen close to this and it was a class of about 60 and a ratio of about 6:1.

Definitely going to have to take advantage of this all semester.

A lot of sociology classes are like that. I'm a sociology major and the female:male ratio has been insane in every one of my classes. It's mostly due to the fact that many of them will probably go into the social work field, which is primarily dominated by women.

Ballot stuffing would seem to be me voting 50+ times.

Ah, but you're only drawing attention to the contest with the intent that they would vote for your wife. You really don't want them to evaluate the contestants, and they obviously weren't interested otherwise, but only doing it to get more votes for your wife is wrong.

I mean, if I knew someone who LOVED pancakes, ate them every day, and was extremely uninformed...and there was a candidate running for office who ALSO happened to be a former pancake flipper, it's a similar situation. I'm trying to get someone to vote, who doesn't care one iota about the race or contest, only so he or she votes my way so my intended victor can artificially inflate his or her total.

And yeah, ballot stuffing was the wrong word. That is multiple votes...I didn't know it was a one vote per IP thing.

If you think that's weird, you must not live around Italians! For my family, bread/crackers/anything! dipped in tomato sauce is a normal snack and/or side dish to, get this, a plate of pasta!

BTW, just played a game of hockey with some old friends (they have an official league, I filled in) and racked up 4 goals and 5 assists for a total of 9 points!

What im doing is making people aware of something to vote on. They can vote for who they want, im drawing them to the site. Isnt that what campaigning is? You say there is something to vote for on this day. You dont drag them down there, you dont force them to vote. All it is, is making them aware, otherwise none of her friends or my friends would know about it.

Im not incentivizing them to vote (no money or food or anything). Just doing my job as a husband to attempt to make my wife happy.

If that's the case, then what you are doing is fine. What you wrote, however, is:

Its based on votes on a website. So naturally, trying to help her out, i sent an email to my friends and asked people to go on and vote for her.

That sounds a bit different.

Oh well, we'll just have to agree to disagree.
