                        What do you do on a week where there's only 4 scheduled days of work (like Memorial Day)? 4 8-hour days?
                        I take 2 hours of vacation on the holiday, and then work my normal 10 hour days. If a holiday falls on Friday, then it's moved to Thursday as my day off. It works out nicely.

                                                Just picked up an application for Staples. I'm going all over the place tomorrow and sending my resumes/picking up application. Maybe someone will take pity and hire me.

                                                    anyone file their taxes yet. I worked 3/4 the year in Chicago and the last fourth in Grand Blanc MI. Do I need to contact my Chi-town employer for my papers or will everything be given to me by my current employer.

                                                        Your employers should send you a W-2 in the mail. I havent gotten mine yet, so there is still plenty of time, but as long as they have your address they are required to provide it.
