Well, my spring break has basically come early.

My teachers are all doing other speaking engagements this week, so I have no classes for myself. Last week was my hell week.

Man I took a day off today. I woke up feeling extremely dizzy for a few minutes, then nausea struck, and I was pretty much confined to a chair in my hotel room for twenty minutes. I called my producer and the artists to tell them I wouldn't be there today; luckily there wasn't much work to be done.

This time change has really got me off my game!

Today has quickly turned into the day from hell. Pushy FA's, i was gonna study today for one of my licensing tests, but I've had 6 cases come in today........madness

So, unintentionally, I am trying a new strategy to write this paper. 700+ words and over 2 pages in (halfway there), I have realized that it doesn't flow as well as I would have liked it to. It is definitely a more "stream of consciousness" type paper, which would probably lower my grade if I turned it in like this.

So, basically I am going to just continue this way, finish the paper by just rambling on and getting every fact/definition/bit of research/idea I want to say down onto the paper. Take a little break away from it and then go back and add some transitions, move some paragraphs around, etc.

We'll see how it goes...I'm guessing badly...but hey, at least it'll be done.

I tend to write that way as well...my typing cant keep up with my thoughts.

I think it works better...throw all your ideas on the paper and then go back and try to make it cohesive and fluid...and dont be afraid to remove sentences and ideas to make it better, even if it has to be a certain length. If its trash, dont keep in the paper for length's sake.

Yeah - I'm actually liking this way a lot better. I get to mold the paper around my thoughts, instead of trying to fit my thoughts into the already established mold of the standard essay.

You are a much better student than I am. Most of my papers end up being of the "stream of consciousness" variety. Except for me, I don't even bother going back and cleaning it up. Most of the time, I have no idea what I ended up writing and handing in. The first time I read most of my papers is when I get them handed back to me.

That's how I usually am...

Usually, I'll type the paper, run a spell check once and then print it out and hand it in. Never proof-read it myself, never re-read it, nothing.

However, I'm a fan of the teacher and he actually puts a lot of effort into the class and making it enjoyable and informative, so I want to return the favor by actually putting some time into my paper and making it as good as I can.

Glad it's really starting to warm up now, this time of year is great. Only thing that sucks is that I am not playing baseball this year, so it won't be quite the same.

Also, after having putting off getting my temps for a long time and having to wait 6 months after getting them I can finally take my drivers licence test this saturday. I should pass if I get by the manuverability part, which has been pretty easy for me so far...but my brother comes back for spring break near the end of next week so we'll be sharing a car for a little while.
