Mnemonic device like visualization.

For example, use the layout of your house as a roadmap....associate the first line with something in the entrance of your house (floormat or something similar), then use a natural progression of going through your house and attaching images to every line (such as a painting on the wall). Create a mental tour of your house that naturally progresses and connect each line of the poem to an object or area of your house. If you forget a line, just go back to the mental tour.

I know its way confusing, the way I described it, but I'm sure if you google that technique you can find a better description. Cant really explain much better right now, been drinkin a little too much

Just saw a preview for a horrible, horrible movie...17 again.

It's a blatant ripoff of Big, set to some s***ty teen background. Somehow they got Matthew Perry in it.

I'd rather be tased 5 times than be sprayed once.

The spray is a miserable thing. It stings your eyes, face, nostrils, etc... and it only seems to get worse as it goes on. Think water will help? Eh, doesn't seem like it. Think sleeping it off will work? Nope. Only will be there to great you when you open your eyes. Want a nice warm, even semi-warm shower after? Haha, go right ahead and just make sure you don't slip when the garbage gets you again!

But hey, who knows how you will react to it. You might not even be that phased by it.

Or.....Well, you could be one of the people who are very sensitive to it and break out in hives that cover your entire face for sometimes up to weeks at a time and ooze puss and fluids and itch and scar. But that's only like 4% of the population, so I wouldn't lose any sleep over the fact that you could spend the rest of your life as a horribly disfigured human being.

Man, I'm actually kind of nervous about going to my creative writing class here in a bit.

We're going to be workshopping my story, and usually I don't care at all...but I actually liked this story so it's gonna suck when they don't like it and spend 20+ minutes tearing it apart and I can't even talk or defend myself/my choices. Not looking forward to it.

I'll tell ya, when it's a darn good thing they make you get stuck by the Taser and get the pepper spray to the face, because you really do understand how much it sucks.
