For me it'd be math.

Structural Engineer.
Edit: In all honesty, I'd like to be a genius in Astrophysics. I've always been interested in the Universe.Last edited by Double Eights; 01-03-2009, 02:18 AM.Comment

Re: If you could be a genius...
While the medical field is currently lucrative, there is something looming on the horizon (most likely) that could greatly lessen its worth.
LOL.
I would probably want mathematics. Calculus, Trig, all that stuff. You can do a whole lot with that.Comment

I think for me it would be finance. How to make money for myself quickly.

Re: If you could be a genius...
Pretty much any high school student on an advanced track should know trig by 10th or 11th grade, and pretty much any engineer should finish calculus by his sophomore or junior year.
The only thing being a "genius" at calculus would really qualify you to do is teach high school math.Last edited by Cebby; 01-03-2009, 12:33 PM.Comment

Re: If you could be a genius...
Tough question because I wouldn't want to do any of the typical things. I can be a genius in engineering but I'm not interested in the field so I would end up either wasting my gift or hating my life/career.
If there were such a thing as being a genius in writing then I guess I'd be open to that, but being a genius in writing is a pretty ridiculous notion. Perhaps, I'd be interested in being a genius in marketing. Being able to recognize trends, fully understand the psychological impulses of potential customers, and then use that to build a production studio empire."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
