The title might sound like a joke but seriously, what can a parent do?

You think kids will listen/follow good leadership from a parent but you REALLY are fighting against their peers when it comes to making those type of decisions. You only have but so much time with them during the day. Just seems stressful for all of you parents out there.

You really can't use FEAR because then she will rebel.

You can't give a GREAT amount of freedom because then she will abuse it.

How would you make her "hip" to the game

There's nothing you can do.

If she craves acceptance and wants to bang, she'll have sex.

If she doesn't, then she might not.

The only real actions that you can take to prevent whoredom would be to sexually abuse her when she enters puberty so that it's such a negative thought that she won't do it with anyone (or she'll become a stripper/do porn). Obviously this isn't advisable.

It's probably best to be open, so at least she won't be getting gamed every 10 minutes.

It goes both ways though. I don't want my son growing up to be a "player", drunk, or any of that stuff in high school, not under my roof. Heck, if he turns out to be an internet tough guy I'd consider our parenting an abject failure.

I also think the extremes you mention as your basic premise:

Um girls are objects and don't really have much mental capacity (they have smaller heads = smaller brains).

Once hormones start all they can think about is getting stuff stuck in their birth canal (see One Time at Band Camp).

It's pretty much science. Your daughter is gonna be meeting strange men in truck stops when she tells you she is going out for a bite to eat.

Unfortunately there is really no way to stop it. You just have to educate them and when it comes down to it, hope they look back at what was said to them and they make good choices.

I think we have all done things sexually we regret though and as bad as it sounds, our children probably will too.

I would say you need to show her what the real world has instore. STD's and diseses just to make her aware. I work with someone who is going through something with his daughter. She started at a young age and by the time she was 17 was running away from home with her "boyfriends". Once she hit 19 he said ok go out on your own and see what its like. A few months later she is back living at home.

Can't do much other than educate your daughter. Think of it this way, once she's out (school, party, etc.) there's not much you can do, unless of course, you tag along.
