Like my wife says on the issue, it's better to err on the side of caution.

My whole point I was trying to make was to research things on your own, and keep an open mind while doing so. Don't just believe everything that someone tells you. I've found that an open mind leads to all kinds of great things, while close minds lead to wars (not a popular opinion for someone in the military).

All the quotes that I used were from the Congressional report that I mentioned. Interested in seeing it? Here it is!

By the way, a funny thing about the UN IPCC Summary that you keep mentioning... Only 52 scientists participated in that survey. Not the hundreds or thousands that you mention. If that's true (like it says in the report), than the 650 scientists that I just posted a link to make up more than 12 times that amount. Who is the majority, again?
Your personal belief appears to be biased towards the fact that the majority of civilized countries have economic reasons for acknowleging the threat of global warming (as you stated in your previous post), so I am highly critical of your neutral ties in this argument. 650 scientists (who believe it or not, ARE in the minority in the scheme of meteorogy experts in the world) saying why they are skeptical is completly different than involved studies which the governments of countries lend creedence to as being amongst the definitive evidence showcasing the threat of global warming. At this point, even the republican organizations are starting to believe the legitimacy to global warming and it is starting to branch away from being a political issue at this point in time. Obviously the previous information I linked was because of its significance, not because of the number of scientists who led the particular study. Obviously there are many more than 52 scientists who back global warming, and quite frankly that is a weak argument because whatever I linked was not to showcase strength in numbers, but the significance of the data itself. It is safe to say that the majority of scientists in the world are backing this phenomenon, and you yourself more or less acknolwedge this with your Aristotle analogy.

The problem with global warming believers is they are, for the most part, not willing to do what it takes.

If there is a magical warming that's going to kill us all, driving hybrids isn't going to do ****. If it's a serious problem, it needs a serious solution.

Step one: Release Ebola in India

Step two: Release Ebola in population centers in China

The worlds least efficient coal plants can't produce their carbons if everyone who is in the state is dead. My crack research teams believes that this action will lower carbon emissions around the world by over 48%! Beat that hybrid people now.

Ebola-The proactive solution to global warming.

The thing with global warming is if the people that say we are warming the planet at very accelerated rates (i believe this to be true), then we are all screwed and society as we know it will change dramatically.

If its not true then we are all good for a longtime.

I would rather err on the side of caution and try to do something about it.

Thats a pretty twisted statement, but alot of truths are in that.

The planet and Science can only support so many people, and I think we are getting very close to hitting that number, if we havent already. I know its been said before, but we are somewhat of a plague.

Either way eventually we or the planet will kill us off. Give earth a million years or so and it will be all good again.

If those are both accurate then I'd say we'll survive this global warming period. I believe humans are probably contributing to the warming, but at a much, much smaller percentage than the alarmists believe it to be.

Alright, its getting a little chippy in here. I don't see the point in keeping this thread open. Its only going to lead to problems.
