I just can't stand the whole conversation thing, sending like 30 texts back and forth in one sitting. I never do it but I see more and more people doing it now.

And this leads to these crazy people who expect you to answer the texts they send you in 10 minutes or less or they think YOU are weird. Sometimes I am busy, people.

That's cuz you're a lawyer. You HAVE to multitask!

Generally it's listening to a client babble on about something irrelevant with the occasional "Yes" "No" "I'm not sure I'll look into that" so they think I am listening more than I am. I don't think some of them get I am billing them while they're keeping me on the phone.

I guess she wasn't paying a lick of attention during school and apparently was texting during cheerleading practice, too.

No wonder some schools are getting those cell phone jammers.
