-18 currently, it was -22 this morning, and we had a high of -4 for Thursday. And wind chill, that's just a BS number...much like the "heat index" in the summer (using humidity).

It was like 10 degrees tonight. Not bad, I was outside in just a hoody and was fine. Tomorrow it's supposed to be around 0 though with wind chills -10. If it's not windy the cold doesn't bother me. If it's windy though it is awful, feels like you can't breathe.

That's how I feel about it too. If it's cold but not that windy you can just wear something a little warm and your set. Once that wind starts blowing it is game over for feeling your face and fingers.

I don't know what the better deal is...winter with an average high temp of 45-50 with summers of 103 degree heat with 90% humidity...or winter with an average high temp of 20 with summer of 90 degree heat with 70% humidity.

The latter for me. I really don't mind the cold that much, I'm used to it at this point.

I know it doesnt compare to what you guys are seeing, but its 40 degrees in Tampa. So yea, its cold (for here). Just last week it was high 70's. I actually had to wear a jacket today to work.
