Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
I've been on Untapped for a while but stopped using it because it's not exactly what I expected. I use Vivino for wine (amazing app) and a picture will tell you everything about the wine, how much it should cost (even based on year), food pairings and reviews from everyone who's tried it... even tells you the closest place to buy it.I've been drinking a lot of Ninkasi's Oktoberfest so far this fall, as well as Pfriem's Pumpkin Bier (the bar next to my apartment had it on for about 15 seconds, and I managed to grab one pint). I tend to drink locally a lot, as when I lived in Eugene, I drank a ton of Eugene/Bend/Springfield beers, with a good amount of Portland beers too.
Is anyone on Untappd? I am pretty obsessive about cataloging my beers.
Untapped seems to be something different and I can't figure out how to get the best out of it. Maybe you guys have some ideas.
BTW, I had a porter from 21st Amendment yesterday that had a hint of pumpkin and spice... very nice. Would be even nicer if I could remember the name, sorry.Comment

I use it as a catalog, really. Have I had this beer before, what did I think of it, etc. Plus I like getting badges, so...Rose City 'Til I Die

Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
Last night I think I had my new favorite beer. Dogfish Head Burton Baton, 10% black IPA. Smoothest 10% beer I've ever had. Dark and delicious.

Burton Baton is great. That and Sixty-One are my favorite Dogfish beers, aside from the untouchable 90 minute.Last night I think I had my new favorite beer. Dogfish Head Burton Baton, 10% black IPA. Smoothest 10% beer I've ever had. Dark and delicious.

Their root beer they have on tap at the brewery is good also.

I never knew this existed. Four Corners Local Buzz. Comes in a can, but the entire thing pops off like canned food.Attached FilesComment

Re: Another Great Tasting Beer Thread
Gotta disagree with the 61 minute... too fruity for me. I do love the 60 minute and 90 minute though. Even had a 75 minute at a cask brew festival that wasn't bad.
The 120 minute is too much for me, but that Burton Baton is perfect.Comment
