What feels better: Warming up when you're cold or cooling off when you're hot?

I was talking about this with the roommates last night. Which do you think feels better and why?

    A) Getting in a hot tub or taking a hot shower after walking home in -10 degree weather with 25 mph winds.

    B) Jumping in the pool after doing yard work for two hours on a 95 degree, humid August afternoon.

Cooling off for me. Mainly because I don't mind being cold, but I do love the feeling walking inside into some A/C after being out in the heat.

Warming up feels like work, like it's a necessity. Cooling off is more like a relaxing bonus.

That's my perception anyway, I'll take the cooling off.

I voted for warming up...it's awesome to hop into bed when cold and warm up under the comfy covers.

It is nice to cool off when hot, especially AC when it's scorching, but I dunno, right now the cold is more applicable so I'm leaning that way.

Cooling off because sometimes when you are warming up you get all itchy/tingly and it sucks.

Nothing worse than being all sweaty with no escape... at least when you're cold you can always put on another layer or something. So yeah, cooling off... no contest. I'm not looking forward to sweating my balls off again in my house all summer... hopefully it's better now that I have new windows that don't let so much heat in.

I love that feeling when It's scorching outside and you finally get home and open your door and that cold air hits you.

Easily warming up. Cooling off never works. I'll still constantly be warm one way or another, and I hate hot weather.

I LOVE warming up, but I went with cooling off because I HATE the heat and nothing is better than finally hitting that AC or diving into the pool.

I'd stick with a year round winter if I had it my way, but still didn't go with warming up. I like the cold.
