    Warming up, no questions asked.
Agree. I tend to sweat a good bit too so when I cool off I feel like I need to shower. I always think it's easier to warm up too and would prefer to be stagnant laying in bed under covers.

Cooling off. Being too hot can make me physically ill.

Cooling off...warming up can be painful after shoveling and being out in sub-zero weather.

Cooling down is way better than warming on. No question. Trying to get warm is usually a painstaking process that takes time, but when cooling off, its usually a sudden rush...like as soon as you walk into that blast of AC or dive into that pool you feel 10 times better.

Warming up. I prefer cold weather rather than warm, since it's much easier to warm up than cool down. When I step into the house in winter I like to have the house extra warm, 76 degrees, that way I can turn on the fan, be in shorts, and snuggle in some blankets. And I keep the house at 70-72 in the summer so it's nice and cool when I come back from work and it's cold at night where I still need a couple blankets to warm up.

Warming up for sure. I work in a fridge all day everyday for the last 5 years.

                    Cooling off.

On a side note, this thread is interesting. Aside from a few anomalies, people below the Mason-Dixon line like to warm up, while people North of that line love to cool down.

Perhaps people in the South are sick of cooling down and people in the North are sick of warming up.

                    Very odd.

Cooling off is way better. The foods you eat to cool down are way better; ice cream, ice cold soda, slushy's, otter pops and ice cold gatorade. That's all better than soup and coco.

Uhh...beer? There's a reason people say "grab me a cold one".

Agreed about the food though. Plus, the cool down food and drink don't take additional time to prepare.
