I can handle soccer. Something about it, especially during the World Cup, gets me. I just can't watch the MLS because the competition is obviously horrible. I can always watch baseball on ESPN or FoxSports. It would be funny to get baseball equipment because I don't really have anyone to play with. It would look like I'm an alien...LOL. I hope some day to visit north America again and maybe this time I'll go playing at some park. But someone will have to teach me how to play right so I don't look like a fool
EDIT:

There's many layers to watching baseball, like chess, or classical music. The deeper the understanding, the deeper the appreciation.I figured once I took this job w\ the MLB it would be automatic....I mean, I have a love for the actual game...I love to play it...and there plenty of players I like in the sport...some which ive actually met...
Ive gone to a couple of games in some different places, and really had a blast....but I just CANT develop a love for professional baseball. It sucks man, b\c I actually want to...
maybe it just isnt in me? Is it one of those things that you just had to grow up into?
After watching it a while so many little things about all of the players become evident, you can tell when a pitch leaves the pitchers hand if it's going to be a meatball or if it's going to be one of those curveballs 3 inches off the inside corner that the guy you're rooting for is going to strike out on, etc.
There's a lot going on every pitch, to a casual fan of baseball, there's a lot that they're missing that makes the game exciting.Comment

I could care less about the people playing the game but I love the game.
I can watch any two teams play and enjoy myself. It's because I understand all of the intricacies about what's going on. Basketball/football I have a decent idea but I know almost everything about baseball. There are SO MANY little things to the game and it's so unlike another other sport.
However I have to watch Major League baseball. Anything at the lower levels doesn't run as smooth. The difference is the Major League players knowing all the little things and the Minors is where the folks find them out.Comment
