I like it, but it's almost too obvious. I'd take out a few more letters.

Re: First ever 'comic' attempt
The "Accessory To Murder" is great. Stick with the stick figure being a person. It makes more sense considering that you're basically making an allusion between a player being an accessory to murder and the game hang man. You leave the figure looking like a stick and it just looks like a game of hang man.
I have to disagree. I think being one letter away from having won the game and avoiding being hung adds to the image. And there really isn't any message by taking out letters. You're just making it harder to understand."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: First ever 'comic' attempt
This goes from being a joke to being a philosophical deep meaning image?
Makes me wonder what other pieces of art (including movies) we stretch the original intent of into our own made up analysis to better the creator's image.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: First ever 'comic' attempt
We know it's a game of Hangman, so writing "Hangman" just seems unnecessary. Other than that, it just wasn't very funny imo. I got it, just didn't think it was funny. But don't let that stop you from trying. There are a lot of published comics in the newspaper that I don't find funny.PS: You guys are great.

Re: First ever 'comic' attempt
I'm an amateur cartoonist, and I've actually always had an idea of a drawing of a hangman game where it's an incredibly easy word, like "H O U _ E", and the stick man is screaming at the player "S, you idiot!" or something along those lines. It's hilarious in my head, but I've never been able to successfully pull it off on paper...IT'S GREAT TO BEA MIAMI HURRICANE"At exactly which point do we start to realizeThat a life without knowledge is death in disguise?"Comment

Re: First ever 'comic' attempt
But, the above doesn't make sense because you add limbs as you're losing. So adding an extra leg would mean you lost, which means that the stick figure was successfully (or unfortunately) hung."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: First ever 'comic' attempt
By the way, this is why I never "understood" the game of Hangman. I was always that kid, the kid that pointed out these types of things. I remember being in first grade or something and trying to tell the teacher and my classmates that the guy is already dead because we started with his head around the noose and that we should start with a leg instead and work our way up. No one seemed to understand my perspective. That's when I learned that people just won't ever understand my sort of thinking."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Re: First ever 'comic' attempt
Basically it really doesn't matter. He's dead already. But you're right. I should have worded it better. I just did it on the fly.Comment
