I can understand that you'd be suspicious because of how elaborate and seemingly perfectly executed it was. But I still doubt that they'd really set all of this up - spending the time and money to rig it so that Amir got the shot, convincing the whole crowd to play along, etc - just for kicks.

In any case, I'm certainly looking forward to Amir's revenge - whether it's staged or genuine, it promises to be entertaining

everyone on the internet thinks everything is fake.

I don't see any reason to think they are fake. Look 100% legit to me. They would have to be incredible actors to pull those off.

      it's real

Real or fake, I don't give a ****. It was entertaining and funny.

Incorrect. When I first saw this on another message board, there were over 50 replies in the first 2 minutes of the thread. All of them were smiley/laughing smileys or "that was hilarious OMG" comments.

Then over here pretty much everyone in the thread thinks it's real.

Real or fake, I'm just sitting here wondering what would have happened if he made the shot...

The papers he signed were probably all bologna so it wouldn't have mattered.

These guys have a TV show on MTV - they don't need any more publicity. What would they gain from staging this?

And anyway, this Prank War has been going for like two years, and the first few were pretty tame. It's obvious if you watch them all that they've escalated to the point of being epic.

If you really think these are fake, you're just being arbitrarily cynical. There's no reason for them to stage this.... now the moon landing on the other hand....

Lol this is hilarious reading years later after Amir admitted that they were all staged! 🤣😂

I am so thankful that during my youth, we never shared our thoughts or shenanigans on social media because there weren’t any platforms to record them on. If there had been, I know plenty of folks who may be sitting beside me in a cell for things we did because they seemed fun or like a good idea in a moment of juvenile delinquency, not knowing they were criminal at the time. Gyah, growing up a little rough was so fun at times, though.

I think we had a few pages on Angelfire, Tripod or GeoCities that we would keep updated with our garage band’s terrible lyrics, just knowing that we would catch a big break that never came. Then, one by one, we found love and drifted apart. I wouldn't trade it for the world now.
