The last 2 years we've gone out in downtown Cleveland (my wife and her friend went to watch the parade, my friend and I stayed at a bar and drank). It was a lot of fun, even though a lot of people are total idiots.
This year I've got basketball at night and my wife couldn't take off work, so we're sitting this one out. We may go out after basketball for a beer or two.

My son is on Spring Break and my wife took the week off so we're going to one or both major parades, one during the day in Saint Paul, the other during the evening in Minneapolis.

I remember when I pierced my tongue in college I couldn't drink beer for like a month because of the yeast, I didn't know if it was the same thing. Just think you'd have the perfect opportunity to mix alcohol and painkillers.

I remember when I pierced my tongue in college I couldn't drink beer for like a month because of the yeast, I didn't know if it was the same thing.

My roommate pierced his tongue in college and he wasn't supposed to drink or eat spicy foods. The next night we ate dinner at a Mexican restaurant and drank many margaritas. Don't think he had any problems with it, though.

They told me hard alcohol was fine, but beer could cause an infection.
