I've met a lot of politicians, a few athletes, and a band.
Politicians:
Met a bunch of them

Athletes: Sammy Watkins, Lamar Scruggs (ex-S. Carolina football player, was on the team at the time), and Tajh Boyd.

Okay, I want to add one to this list, not because of the person but because of the story around it...

So I'm a HS teacher, and our entire staff had a party at a popular restaurant on the beach here in Half Moon Bay, CA. I'm in a "teacher band" and we played a set list of ten songs (a few Christmas ones) out on the patio. As the party died down and I was one of two people left, I was toting my guitar through the main dining area and I came across Jon Miller sitting at a table, alongside a few other people. Of course, me being me, I just walked up to him, stuck my hand out, said that I appreciate everything that he does and listening to him every day. He was very gracious, and I struck a conversation with the four people who where there (his son, daughter, and son's wife).

I'll save the stories we talked about, but eventually I stated why I was there and holding a guitar, and the daughter asked me to play a song for them. I was doing the whole, "Nahhh I can't do that!" but they insisted, including Jon himself. They said, "Play one of your Christmas ones you played outside. Do it for all of us!" (gesturing toward essentially that entire area of the restaurant). So I dragged the person who was alongside me to help sing the song she did a guest-appearance in (Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree), and as we played, eventually it got to the point where Miller's booth was singing, and then pretty much that entire area was singing!

It was just... so boss! I'm not sitting there trying to get his autograph or take a picture with him, nagging him with stuff like that, but instead he asked me to sing for him, and heck he sung along to a couple of parts! It was just fantastic. I have no living proof of this, unless somebody in the restaurant recorded it and posts it on YouTube.

Thought I'd share it out to somebody who might appreciate it. If you want more about our little conversation I can talk about that as well, but for him to give me the time of day and request a serenade is just perfect for this time of year. Any other time of year, and it just seems a bit out of place. But there I was with my Santa hat, and... well, you know how it is.

The Blackhawks had off-season work outs in my hometown (Culver,Indiana) in mid 90s and met Chelios, Hackett and the legend Bob Probert. I was a kid then and met them at a gas station and they signed my shirt and talked a bit, super cool guys. RIP Bob.

When I was a kid I met John Glenn. He came to my town for something that I don't remember lol. But my dad was a cop and was in his security detail and I got to go to the function and met him. I vaguely remember it though.

I've met a few baseball players, mostly Indians from the 80's and early 90's but nobody really famous. If anyone knows some of these names you're awesome lol

You could go to games at old Municipal Stadium and just sit in the front row anywhere in the stadium and the players would interact with you before games and even between innings. It was pretty cool.

Way too many to list here, however I have a few favorites. Probably my most favorite memory of them all was Shaq.

Got a chance to go to Shaqs house and shoot basketball around with some of his friends / family. Went down to the Amway Arena and played in a mock up scrimmage with the rest of the Magic, complete with announcer and all.

Met David Stern, asked me where the elevator was and had to shake his hand like I was drafted. Met Rick Patino once asked me where the gym was at my high school, shook his hand and told him it's that way. I must be that guy that tells where something is at.

Carried bags at the airport for Scott Hamilton, the ice skater that did backflips andChristie Yamaguchi, got 100 bucks each from them. Christie is so tiny.

Judge Judy, she was just as mean IRL like she is in the show and stiffed me on the tip but I remember she tried to give me life advice.

Met Hulk Hogan when I was a kid when I exited The Viper ride at 6 flags. He was with Brooke and his son. I was in total shock and could not say anything, luckily my cousin yelled out and he talked to us for a quick minute.

When I was in LA I walked passed this amazing beauty and said "wow she looks like Carmen Elektra" she turned back and smiled. They my friend started laughing, "that was Carmen Elektra *******"

Met Steve Aoki before he got super big at a club in Phoenix.

Not really that many. Alot of Spartans, but I wouldn't say many of them are famous. Draymond Green, Mateen Cleaves and Tom Izzo would be the only ones I'd say are famous. Several other football and basketball players that aren't really famous. Tom Izzo taught a class I took, but it was his assistant that ran the class. He only showed up 3 times all semester. I played ball with Korie Luscious a couple times after he got kicked off the team. Delvon Roe was in one of my classes my Sophomore year, and I lived on the same floor as the freshmen basketball players in 10-11, so they were acquaintances.

I met John Legend and Ben Folds a couple years ago. Jeff Daniels grew up with my mom, and is a distant friend of the family. I didnt meet her, but I was on the same flight with Kate Upton into DTW like 3 years ago, but didn't bother her. I was standing in the gallery by Barry Sanders for a bit at the PGA championship at Oakland Hills several years ago, but he was with his sons and no one else was bothering him, so again I didn't want to bother him. And I met Muhammed Ali when I was a kid.

That's all I can think of.

I met Plaxico Burress at a Cheesecake Factory in New Jersey just a few weeks before he was sent to jail.

I also went to a Applebee's with Kel Mitchell.
