One caveat of online dating that I've experienced so far, is ugly girls get reeeaaaaly brave with the message sending. At least from what I've seen on OKCupid.

I'm not saying I'm Brad Pitt, but some of the golden retrievers that have messaged me makes me wonder what made them think they would have a chance.

Oh, well that's why. If every question you answer is marked irrelevant then it has no effect on the match % for you. Essentially the match % is 50% you and 50% her. So if you answer everything irrelevant the highest match you'll get is 50%.
