Look, I was teased, beaten up and actually thrown in a garbage can as a kid. So I know all about "bad" physical contact but I wouldn't trade that for this kind of pansy arse society that we have today. Kids today are becoming so soft that when a REAL challenge comes into their lives they'll just run to mommy and daddy crying about the big bad world.

      This is just PATHETIC.

Yeah thats physical contact so they'd have to do it on the sneak and there's something wrong with trying to do a butt slap on the sneak. It just doesn't look right. And supposed you go for the slap but someone looks but doesn't see it right away but neither of you can move till the person turns his eyes. Then a butt slap turns into a full grab and that's NEVER good in sports.

We had a no public display of affection rule. Basically it was just no kissing or anything like that in the hallways.

A rule like that I can understand but no physical touching allowed at all is just a little draconian no?

I hope these schools don't have football, or any other sports teams.

Yeah this is too much! But now that you mention pencils. Man I used to love pencil fighting. I was the king that. I even beat a kid using a fat pencil. I just know how to flick that pencil hard. Too bad that never went pro or kickball I was the king at that too.

I bet if this happened at my high school and I would get expelled for touching someone anyway, I might as well just go for a boob.

Yeah this is way too overboard on the school's part. Goodbye sport teams... we knew ye well.

While I agree it's an over the top answer to the problem...I'm sure the folks that made it know high fives and such aren't really the problem.

It's probably alot like trying to call pass interference.

All the minor stuff tends to make calling the big stuff more of a judgement call. Remove the minor stuff and you don't have to make a judgement.

There are two types of people on OS: Those who disagree with me, and those who agree.

The first kind is wrong. The second is superfluous.
