This rule is ******** period. My aunt and I were talking about it yesterday morning when we heard it on FOX News.

This would be one of those rules that my friends and I would love to break. We would probably all get together in front of a teacher or someone and start High Fiving, the Knuckles, the figer Lock and anything else we could think of. XD

I can see why they did it. There was a serious incident at the school and something had to be done. They did it because it would be hard to distinguish between horse play and someone actually hurting someone. Are you going to punish someone if 2 people are messing around and one of them get's hurt? Is it the same as someone doing it on purpose? There is just too many ifs there and in order to set a fair rule, they banned all touching. That covers them if someone gets hurt now from any contact.

This most likely wasn't a problem with the school, but with the county and insurance company. People are crazy and will sue for anything, so the insurance company or county school board probably demanded the changes. Its all done in order to help cover the school in any legal issues.

Disgusting. This country is becoming more and more brain-dead every time I turn around. Instead of looking at things on a case-by-case basis, we make these black and white, blanket rules that solve nothing. Can't anyone think or analyze things anymore? We're going to be walking around like robots soon.

While I agree it's an over the top answer to the problem...I'm sure the folks that made it know high fives and such aren't really the problem.

It's probably alot like trying to call pass interference.

All the minor stuff tends to make calling the big stuff more of a judgement call. Remove the minor stuff and you don't have to make a judgement.

Yeah, God forbid anyone should have to think on their feet and use their brains, right? No wonder people in this nation are so stupid.

Honestly, I'd probably just touch someone on purpose if my parents didn't move me to a different school.
