Most of my internet time (except on weekends) is from work. When I am at home and have free time, I am playing games, not on the net. We are not supposed to, but oh well.

Heh, post here from work probably 90% of the time, though I've been getting online at home more often. My job is really streaky -- sometimes I'm totally swamped and can hardly breathe, much less post on forums... other times I will literally sit here all day doing essentially nothing because nobody is around or the HR system is down. I work for my university doing HR stuff... when no students are around, my job is very slow.

My employer doesn't know the extent to which I post I'm sure (I have 8000+ posts at the Sage Francis forum), but it seems like most supervisors know that the work is seasonal a lot of the time and overlook employees surfing the web, etc. I know that others in my office do the same, even the director whose office is right next to mine... we don't always have something to do, so it's understandable. And I think it's positive to have little breaks during the day where you do something non work-related... often times it helps you focus better when you are doing work stuff afterwards.

Most of my posts (including this one), are from work. I'll usually post from my phone or from one of the laptops in the studio. Come to think of it, I'm never really "home."

I don't really have a boss, though when I'm working with an artist and my producer, I won't run into my own corner to make a post.

I work in a copy center at a major utility company here in the Bay Area...

I'm definitely not supposed to be online as much as I am, but I am, I'm always looking over my shoulder...

one time i was looking at Kanye Wests blog and as i was scrolling thru my boss came in, just so hpappend to be right as i was passing a picture of one of the females on there...

my boss (a woman) was like What is that? I was like this is kanye wests blog im just looking at some of the art and stuff..

shes like i saw a female figure what was that and she got all freaked out... i basically cant go to his blog site anymore...

I figured out a way to make it look like im looking at email when im posting though...

I have my work outlook maximized and i re sized the browser window to fit on the right side, so if my boss comes up it looks like im reading an email message... hehehehe

that and the os 1.0 "im at work skin" = win

I post too much from work. Although, it helps the time fly, multitasking isn't for everyone.

Yeah, I'm just careful about what I visit... I'll occasionally watch YouTube videos at low volume, etc., but I pretty much keep it to blogs, news sites, and forums that aren't inherently covered in pictures or stuff that makes it obvious that it's not work-related. I always have my iTunes library going via my external hard drive, so having music or sounds coming from my office doesn't alarm anyone.

Plus, I have an office with a door that intentionally doesn't face my computer screen (boo ya!) -- I have no reason to believe that people at work even know that I post on forums, much less the extent. Heh, plus I do all my browsing with fireFox and have IE open to work sites, so if it came down to it, I can always switch over to IE and nobody is the wiser. I probably don't even need to do that...

Also, I have no reason to believe that the IT department is tracking activity other than to prevent people on campus from downloading/sharing media illegally or visiting illegal sites. I make sure that nothing I visit would fall into that category...

I do 90% of my posting from at work. I check OS in the morning while I'm eating breakfast at work to start the day. I have an office and can just close my door if i want to (like now, im watching HIMYM on CBS.com). Its nice to be able to post. My boss doesnt care if we "occassionally" browse and he sees me on ESPN alot, but would probably not be too happy to know how much im on here.
