It is no secret that OS has a long, loyal group of members, and it is also no secret that the majority of those members have been frequenting here for many years.
Each member has their own reasons for remaining dedicated to this site, but what I am wondering is - What keeps YOU returning for more?
I won't lie. A lot of the reason I come to OS is because I get lonely out here. Doing what I do for a living in a smaller area is not exactly healthy for the social life. I have never had this problem before, but it is a temporary sacrifice I must make to get where I want to be someday. OS is my place to take the serious face off, relax with people who share my same interests, and of course, keep up to date with my ever so precious sporting games.
I see some people are disappointed with the "Off Topic" thread being gone and I understand both sides of the argument. It just shows how some members think of this place as more of a social network than a strictly gaming oriented site.
OS is just a great place. I have met so many great people off of this site recently and I know I will meet many more.
