I can't chew.

Every time I take a dip I end up sick to my stomach, on the toilet, and wishing I was dead all while my head goes around in circles like Linda Blair on coke.

Maybe I'm a tobacco lightweight? I don't know, but that **** would be the death of me if I tried it again

In college we bet a guy that he couldn't fit a whole tin of Kodiak in his mouth at once.....

He was putting it in everywhere, upper lip, way in the back...He was mumbling something incoherently when someone tackled him to the ground and they started tickling the poor bastard......Yeah sounds pretty gay, but it was funny as hell. Looked like Motor Oil was bubbling out of the kids mouth.

He turned green and puked about 5 minutes later.

This will obviously be for the more "southern" users...

I live where RJR (same company that sponsored...ah, if you know tobacco you know that company name) manufactures all of its tobacco products and the smell from the plant at about 5pm in the evening is horrifying. It scarred me for life as a poor little 5-year old running outside in the backyard. It smells like B.O. and prune juice all mixed together in one concoction.

Nah, there were tons of people dipping in my HS and college. I guess I don't know for sure how bad it is down south but I have known tons of people who have dipped since they were 14-15 years old.

I knew a kid who dipped at my High School. He transferred from NY junior year. He was one of the only kids I knew who dipped. I'd say much more people in Nebraska, at least in the cities, smoke than dip. I think dip is a lot more prevalent in the rural areas around here.

You'd be suprised the Wall Street Journal did an article on it and its pretty prevalent in the white collar sector as well. They were talking about executives mastering the art of spitting into the straw of a fountain soda drink. There really isn't a place for the people in high rise business buildings to smoke or on planes so dipping is becoming more popular.

About 1/2 the guys in my fraternity in college dipped. Suprsingly most have done well for themselves. CPA's, Analyst, Engineers, etc.....All with spit chew running down the front of their shirts...

I started 17 years ago when I was in college playing baseball. I dipped alot from the time I was about 18 to 25. I went through a can every other day. A can now will last me atleast a week or longer.
I only do it now when I am playing video games at night by myself or while I am on a long drive by myself.
The thing is I have been doing it for 17 years and my denist cant believe it. I have perfect teeth and have no gum loss at all. I think the reason my teeth and gums are still in good shape is because I only dip once a day from about 10-11 pm and as soon as I am done I brush my teeth.
My dip of choice is Grizzly mint, because it taste just like Kodiak and is 1/3 of the price.
I really need to stop but it is really hard to quit. I did quite about 3 years ago and it lasted about 6 months before I started again.

Never tried it and never will. Mainly because when I was little I seen a Pepsi can and thought it was my dads Soda and took a drink of it. Needless to say it was his spit can.

I have grown tired of the mint flavor. I going try vanilla, I think skoal makes it. I am also about to go pick up some chew. I did it non stop over the weekend and enjoyed every bit of it.

My question for you guys who have been doint it for a while is does changing brands give you a different feel?

I have heard good things about snus. Just dont know how I feel about swallowing the spit. But people who have done mint say it taste exactly like it.
