I know this is crazy, but I watched that show the Pick Up Artist and that sh$# works. B4 I go on, I am married and have never cheated on my wife in 10 years. Honest Injun.

One night, some guys from work went out and asked me to go ( after saying "no thanks" many times, I finally agreed). After a few beers, I wondered if I still had it. I saw my buddies talking to all these girls and I just watched. So I figured what the hell, let's have some fun. I said to myself, no matter what their first reaction is keep gaming 'em.

So I go up to a couple of ladies, probably 35-37 years old at the bar(I am 37). I just start up a basic conversation with them. They kinda look at each other and politely engage me, after a minute or two I get a cold shoulder ("slut defense" just like I saw on TV, they don't want to seem to interested right away especially in front of a girlfriend.) I was ready for it, and instead of walking away, I asked a few more questions. BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE! The hot one kept talking, and even followed me when I went back to my friends table. They were shocked to see me with a hottie.

Anyway, they left to go to another bar and asked me to go with them, I politely declined and said I had to go home. I've been married 11 years and I still got it!

Just say "screw it" and talk to 'em. Who cares if you get the cold shoulder, try a little longer...if nothing changes, change of venue man. Ladies can smell "weakness" and don't like it. Act like the person you want to be.

That is some very good advice I think. When I get the cold shoulder like you describe I just give up. I guess that's the George Costanza in me, LOL.

ODogg I'm in the same situation except for the fact that I'm skinny. "Snoop Dogg" skinny. At the rate I'm going, the only thing I turn down is my collar. And I'm in my 30s. Rejection is a mofo.

Right on! Chicks aren't dumb. They get hit on all the time, you aren't their first Rico Suave. None of them thinks they are a ho. So no matter what, they will put up their "slut defense" to weed out the weaklings. Most guys will slump their shoulders and wimper off. They weed out the undesirables, their friends see that they don't lay on their backs for anyone that approaches them. They win.

If you show you're a bad MF, and keep talking...sure, maybe they might tell you to F-off, or...they see you got some cajones and are worth keeping around. They feel good when they attract a guy, it makes 'em feel attractive and wanted. They just don't wanna appear "easy".

P.S.

I mean, if they tell you to "F" off, or pull out some mace...walk away with class. But if they do something minor like talk to one another and ignore you...keep up you game. You know what I mean.

Thanks for posting as it's nice to know I'm not the only one. It seems like everyone I went to school with is married with 2 or 3 kids which makes me feel like even worse about things.

Odogg don't feel bad with rejection and just keep asking! It will happen and be yourself. Being fake is stupid. Plus you want someone to love you for who you are not what they think you are. It will happen. Also, try some of those websites. I know you are on one right now, but look at others too.

Odogg don't feel bad with rejection and just keep asking! It will happen and be yourself. Being fake is stupid. Plus you want someone to love you for who you are not what they think you are. It will happen. Also, try some of those websites. I know you are on one right now, but look at others too.

It's funny that you say that, I just now, for the first time ever I think, got an email from a local girl on a dating site inquiring about my interest in the paranormal. This was one of the interests i've been told time and time again by my friends to remove from my profile (along with sports, politics and fitness).

You know the thing is this, if I remove all of my interests that may scare off some dates from my profile then what is left? LOL...I do not want to simply have a picture and the statement "I want a woman" on there.

Women are attracted to humor, and low key confidence...

They hate neediness and desperation...

The best way to meet women is to be around women...dating 'up' starts with dating, period...

10 years is tooooo long to be out of the game...that's what killing your confidence...

Rejection is a b*tch, but it's the only way to play...

Batting .100 (one for ten) will get you in the players HOF...

That's exactly what I told my friends. Then they all pointed out they were all married and I couldn't get a date, so what could I say to that, LOL.

By the way I figured since some of you may not know what I look like and was wondering if I was truly hideous. Here is a picture I just took.

The problem with your pictures is you're always in a dead stare in some terrible clothes.

Take a picture of yourself smiling (not goofy smile, but smile) in at least a collared shirt and khakis.
