I've been thinking about a pair of Nike Hyperdunks for $89.99 on Eastbay/Footlocker. There is a red/black pair that looks cool and a friend of mine told me they are comfortable and good for quickness.

Will the hyperdunks last a while? I want a reliable shoe too, or do all bball shoes tear apart within a year depending on how much you play?

I had a $40 pair of reeboks that I used indoor for a year and it just recently started ripping on the right shoe. I play 2-3 times a week.

What do you guys think of the Wade Slashes? I found a decent price for them online - are they solid shoes?

I just got these for the time being. It might be the case that I use these for a while and not get new shoes unless they rip apart. What do you think? I could still try to get a more expensive pair of shoes, especially since I've been wanting a black/red pair of Nike, Jordan or adidas.

I have Jordan's and have bought them for three years in a row and love them.

One thing though, don't ever get them really wet, EVER!
                    They squeak so dang much.
