So who here is prepared for the zombie apocalypse?

For some strange reason I was surfing some survivalist sights last night before bed and became aware that I'm not even ready for a minor natural disaster let alone a plague of flesh eaters.

Way I figured it, I need about 600 dollars more stuff to be ready and thats with skipping the "required" firearms they demanded I have. (can't do the gun, not comfortable with them in the house right now)

I'm not paranoid but I do think I need to be better prepared.

Anybody else?

AT first i thought you were serious about the zombie thing and i was going to call you nuts. But really, your right. Stuff happens. I cant say i would know what you need, but i agree with you.

You seriously need to buy that and read it. Awesome book and will explain everything in your attempt to be ready for the coming zombie apocalypse!

Well, I probably don't have enough canned goods and such. I'd need to get some seeds to grow my own food, too.

I have several firearms to fend off the looters, though, so they can't steal all my crops I'm growing for food!

Hardly...machine guns are relatively useless because zombies require head shots to kill. Where in humans unloading a AK47 into a mob would kill tons, that does quite a bit less to zombies. You're better off with something that has a bit more accuracy so you can pick them off without wasting ammo.

Not the worst gun of the bunch, but there's better stuff out there.

Yeah I got the book ordered but I sort of want to be prepared for ANYTHING...you know... including stuff more likely to happen.

We lost power for a week, a few years back, following a hurricane and that was a cake walk compared to what could happen.

Yeah, wait, isn't that why Left 4 Dead sold so well? It's a training game like America's Army, right? I train on that game at least 2 hours a day to ensure that super-fast zombies will not eat my brains and skin.
