Re: Where does everybody get their sig names from?

There was a story behind my name but I don't remember it anymore. It's just sort of stuck with me for about ten years now, though.

I do remember that it had and still has absolutely nothing to do with Dr. Dre, drugs, etc., however.

Qb is a shortened version of my old username, q_bert183. Q*bert was a short-lived college nickname after my hair turned bright orange due to a bad dye job (I don't even remember what the 183 was for). Since it never stuck, I wanted to ditch it for a long time for something more user-friendly. The new one has nothing to do with being a quarterback, hence the lowercase 'b'...

My GT is King Oskar, which is my cat's name. I couldn't think of anything that wasn't taken and he was sitting right there. I find it amusing that a lot of my EASHL teammates call me Oskar like its my first name.

cyankee1 was an alternative email I had suggested to me after I tried to set up my first email about 10 years ago. My origanal I wanted was like yankees#1@ so and so .com but it was taken so I took the first suggestion and it stuck ever since.

LOL...I'm putting out a mandate that everyone must call you Oskar on the FIFA Teamup sessions.

Awesome...though I've used mgoblue online long enough where I know I'd look around if someone at a mall yelled "Hey, MGo".

Mine's just because I went to Michigan and obviously am a fan. The number 21 is one of my lucky/favorite numbers, so used that when regular mgoblue wasn't available for Live

I definitely didn't guess that on these two. You'd probably get a kick out of the way I pronounced these names in my head.

Re: Where does everybody get their sig names from?

Well, I chose the Heisman part becasue I love college football. The 316 part is from Stone Cold back in the day, haha.

My gamertag is Shortsinator. It's this becasue my last name is Short. My friend in gym class started calling me Shorts and then I thought of Schwazenegger, and Shortsinator was born.

Once I donate, I'll probably change my name here at OS to ShortsiNator

Lol same. I always pronounced them "arv-bas" and "kel-is". Then again I also thought BK's name at first was BK Rich and not B Krich.

                      I'm the exact same.

People called me stewaat in HS so I like to use it on sites. Plus it's always available. Stewart is me last name.

Haha, I thought the same about BK as well.

That is a trip I never even thought of QB. I guess I am used to you as Qbert.

Very simple; a combination of my first name (Matt) and the year I was born ('82) and the year I graduated from college ('04).
