Go get her examined by a vet. This brings back some really bad memories for me. I will pray for your ferret though. Everyone needs a friend.

Im sorry to hear this bro. Is there anyone you could call to give you a ride to an emergency vet? Maybe your parents or someone could float you a loan for it?

I hope your little buddy is ok. Ferrets are awesome animals.

Re: My farret is very sick

We got luck this morning and was able to get a ride but it was to late. She passed away in my girl friends arms this morning. It was really sickening to watch. She was twitching, flopping and shaking like she was having seizures. She made this loud gasp and then she stopped breathing. As far me i have no emotional attachment to farrets im a dog guy and this pet was for my girl so i feel really bad for her right now she's been crying all morning but she's doing better now. This thing fought for it's life since last night thats the sad part. I want to know what happen. This makes no sense it was doing great one day and then the next day she's sick. It was real sudden.

Well if you were on our campus I would definitely help you out. I'm sorry man. Just hold and pet it I guess.

Re: My farret is very sick

Aww, that's too bad. No idea about ferrets, but often animals have species-specific problems that pop up from time to time... maybe they're prone to that? If she was having seizures and stuff, there was probably something seriously wrong with her to begin with and it just never manifested itself.

Hope your girls feels better soon -- always sad to lose pets.
