If your looking to do the traditional pot roast style use lipton onion soup mix with some water instead of the cream of mushroom. Also, insert the tip of the knife into various spots on the roast to create little slits and insert whole peeled garlic gloves.

And remember to use cold water when starting, not hot. As using hot will scald your roast and create and nasty foam.

What are some good ways to prepare chicken? I know you can fry it with or without breading, but what else can I do with a stove-top, oven, and chicken?

Also, I have a quart size crock-pot (maybe not even that big) and have no idea what I can use it for. I've been told that it could be good for dips and sauces, but alas I have no idea what kinds of dips and sauces I could do that require such a small crockpot.

So for those who think "hot" salsa is too tame, this stuff is AWESOME!

I've mixed up some queso with this as well making a plate of nachos and the heat is just perfect. Hell, straight out of the jar is pretty tasty as well.

Chicken: stuff it, sear it, place in baking pan with some sauce and simmer in the oven.

Fillings could include but are not limited to,

Spinach, cheese, bread crumbs, bacon, ham, butter and parsley (kiev), mushrooms, onions, etc..

I recommend going out and picking up a stovetop grill. That way you can have faux charbroiled chicken. Which opens up another realm of recipes.

As far as the quart size crock pot goes...I'm at a loss.

It sounds more like a serving pot than anything.

Plenty of things with chicken. You can brine it to bring some great flavor to it. You can pan sear it and finish it off in the oven while making a Bechemel sauce. I used a certain cereal to make some breading and whew, bombtatstic. I am a chef in training so believe me there's plenty to do with that barn yard pimp.

                      You could do hunch punch.

                      - Pint of Vodka
                      - Pint of Gin
                      - 1/5 of Everclear
                      - 2 jugs of Green Hawaiian Punch

Or if you want simple, just buy a few bottles of the Mountain Dew game fuel and a 1/5 of everclear. Surprisngly, Everclear is a great mixer despite it being pure alcohol.

I can verify this. Take it slow though. That stuff will mess you up bad if you go too hard. Last time i had it was with orange Hi C, I also wound up in the middle of a field in the country with a chick for about 5 hours. So proceed with caution.

A Tuscan-style grilled chicken under a brick recipe with delicious crispy skin and juicy, perfectly cooked meat.

Brick chicken is awesome. Easy to make too.
