Right you are. Any moderately attractive looking girl could get what they want from pretty much any guy just by showing interest.

But the double standard is ridiculous.
There is truth to that, but unless she's slipped some type of date rape drug, she's knowingly drinking the drinks with knowledge ahead of time of what its going to do to her. In other words, if her goal is to get laid that night, she may drink because she knows it will let her relax, let her guard down and allow her to throw her inhabitions to the wind. It's kind of like the shy guy having a few drinks of liquid courage so he can approach that girl.

Plus, I guess it depends on what age group we're talking about. Obviously this rings more true in college then it does to a freshman in high school. When I was 14-15. Getting a girl drunk wasn't even an option or a thought to me, though I was still trying to "do stuff" with girls.

I'm glad your uncle is strict with his daughter. We need more of this all the way around.

I didn't mean to offend you or anyone in your family.
I'm just messing with ya man lol. It's all love.

Some douchebag did that to my sister...His name was Trent (Fitting name for a douchebag)
I was at the same party as her with my buddies. I walked into the bathroom and my sister was passed out. Trent was waiting for a room to open and he came back in. I instantly knew what was going on. I beat the living crap out of him (much smaller than me) somebody called the cops on me and I ended up carrying my sister out of the party. Luckily my friend Chase was there to pick us up.

Guys with little sisters...You know how P'oed you would of been. I saw him on the next Monday...His face was messed up. Hes lucky he did not go to jail and so was I. I still want to beat him up.

Re: Dude With/Planning On Having Daughters; Have You Purchased Your Gun Yet?

I think the MOST important thing you can do w/ your daughter is FOSTER self-esteem/self-worth.

I've got a little sister (21 in Sept). She's smart, but quite ditzy at times...not that good of a driver...etc. etc.

All my father does is talk down to her, call her stupid when she makes mistakes, say she does this/that stupid, and she thinks less of herself for it.

As the big brother I try and build her back up, but now she's w/ a boyfriend who is the same way as my dad...

            Negative, demeaning, selfish, controlling...

Women are naturally insecure...too many emotions...so you have to do the best you can to NOT make them even MORE emotional.

            I think that begins w/ fostering self-esteem/self-worth.

See...my dad basically took the same approach to raising two boys as he did w/ his daughter.

It was no big deal to call me or my brother stupid for making a mistake, we take it, learn from it, and realize we're not stupid but just need to make better decsions.

Girls really start to think they're stupid/unintelligent/etc...

They start to doubt themselves, and then they eventually end up w/ a loser boyfriend/husband because they don't value themselves.

Ex. If she get's in a car accident while texting she deserves the disciplinary "hammer". My sister never did anything like that...

But she gets a speeding ticket, and it's..."how could you be so stupid"...stuff like that.

Re: Dude With/Planning On Having Daughters; Have You Purchased Your Gun Yet?

^^ That is a very true post.

The two serious GF's I've had in my life both had daddy issues (one didn't barely saw her father and the other's was an alcoholic and a **** up) and it was easy to see how badly it affected them. One of them was on the phone w. her pops about six weeks after her birthday (dad had forgot about it) and she asked him when her birthday was and he guessed and was off by about three weeks. That is just tragic to me yet she shrugged it off like it was nothing.

They are so damn insecure and emotional it is out of this world. I straight up asked one of them if they were bi-polar one time That didn't go over well. It's insanity, one girl was so up and down it was impossible to deal with her in the long run. When she was up and "normal" she was everything I could hope for in a female. When she was down I didn't want to be within a 100 miles of her. And the **** would flip flop in like a two minute span. She'd be happy as hell and then anything I said to her would set her off. No thanks.

The ladies are emotional roller coasters. They are so f'ing sensitive. My old girlfriend Molly got extremely mad and started calling me names because I said "How many purses do you need...Geez"

Girls...Cant live without them cant live with them. Sometimes I wish I was gay, but women are too sexy and guys are too hairy and smelly.
