I can count on my left hand when it comes to how many times Ive used drugs

I never ever even popped a pill...Come to think of it, Im NEVER sick, yea I'll get a common cold which will go away in a couple days without taking drugs for it....Never any aches or fevers, NOTHING....People I know who are always sick are the ones that use drugs on alot...Fatigue, headaches, etc....Fact my grandmother passed away because of stress, she was always taking asprine....Her organs collapse..........My Grandpop just passed and he was on the stuff(if you know wat I mean)

dont really have a problem with weed tho, Im a supporter(dont use it) but I have to ask myself and to any of you guys, are drugs(sold in stores) really good for you??????????????

I have never used any recreational drugs and I don't drink (I've had a sip on special occasions, but I've never been drunk).

As far as medication, I don't take pain relievers...I'd rather just suffer. The last time I took an aspirin was after I had a tooth extracted and the Dentist gave it to me in the office. I don't even think I took my next dosage after I got home.

I'll only take medicine when a cough or runny nose prevents me from sleeping, or I have to be out and about somewhere.

As a long sufferer of Migraines, which bring on a type of suffering that I can not put in to words, I occasionally take medication for that. I also occasionally take zantac for heartburn, as I get older that's more common when I eat certain foods.

Other than that, not really.

I agree with the original poster for the most part. While I don't even smoke it anymore (well, maybe once a year on my birthday) I am 100% pro marijuana but 100% against all other drugs, over the counter or otherwise. I suppose antibiotics are okay if they are truly necessary but that's about it.

I'm not much on drugs myself. Working in a hospital for the last 18 yrs, I've learned doctors are drug pushers w/licenses. Know how they treat drug addicts? With drugs. Insane.

So you don't get sick and thus don't take medication, yet your friends do get sick and take medication?

I would imagine that if someone is "always sick", it has less to do with them popping pills to fight illness and much more to do with a weaker immune system and/or higher risks of illnesses.

Tomorrow, I will examine the phenomenon that those who own video game systems play more video games than those who do not.

I got no idea the age ranges involved here at all but I can testify that as you get older (late 30's) that my usage went from none to some...and as I enter my forties I'm needing anti-inflamitories/pain meds more and more for the same abuse my body laughed off as a kid.

I get what you are saying, I do get sick like any other human but I treat it natural, yet Im less sick than any other person who use say Tylenol....Im 23 and I expect to get sick more as I get older but Im confindent that me treating my illness naturally will probaly kept me out of the hospitol....

Im like the only 23 year old I know who dont Know what a headache feel like...

Oh yea, one thing that always made me laugh are the side effects presented when taking medicine or any other drug like viagara....

Treating illnesses naturally will probably kill you if you catch something serious.

mayve it is my immune system but does somthing like that run in your family? My family always have something wrong with them lol

Funny thing is that I didnt wake up one day and say "Im never taking anymore drugs" it just happen that way....When I was little I used to throw up my cough medicine(stuff is nasty!) and I cannot swallow pills(I mix vitamins in my food)

Yea, probably

but thats why I didnt use "medicine" in the title....Im mainly talking about home over the counter stuff like Motrin, Tylenol, etc.....Trust me, If my doctor said I need to take something, I'll probably would...

Also just to clear it up, when I hear the word DRUG, I personnally think of addiction....Ive seen people abuse NightQuil....its like the tablespoon dont apply anymore....

I have a big-time aversion to all things in pill form. Just don't trust most of them, especially since it's such a dirty, money-grubbing industry with its tendrils all over the place. I drink lemon-ginger-honey team when I get a sore throat, and I normally just wait out colds and stuff. The only times in the last 5 years or so that I've had to take medications were after a surgery (light pain meds) and when I got really bad upper respiratory infections (bronchitis/pneumonia style), those were antibiotics.

But yeah, America is crazy with the pills. I watch my grandma and Dad take like 15 pills at a time and just shake my head. Yes there are legitimate conditions where only medications will help, but there are many other ways to handle almost everything, but it's easiest to just go to the doctor, pay the $20, and swallow whatever they tell you to (pause).
