Way to ruin a young man's life, I love judge's who are so far up their own *** they can't see the trees through the forest.
Umm.. he shot a kid twice with a BB gun. Granted it wasn't a real gun, but if it did blind the kid, what would you be saying? "Way to ruin a kids life by shooting him and blinding him with a BB gun?"

This is actually a really really good judge. He knows that this kid could potentially have worst character traits in the future, so what does he do? Strip him of all the PRIVILEGES he has. Sports are a privilege, especially in school.

If this kid never got caught, we could of been looking at the next Pacman Jones.

from another article I found it said he

In track, Hunter ran the 100-yard dash in 10.2 seconds — but missed competing in the state finals because he was locked up for violating terms of his bond in the BB gun incident.
sounds like he wasn't taking this very serious if he was locked up for violating his bond terms.

Oh ya I agree with the judge as well.

I agree with not letting him play in high school anymore, but if he gets into college, a university or junior college and say he walks on to a team in any sport, he can't play?

Exactly what I was going to say.

Kids are prevented from playing sports for a whole lot less (bad grades, bad behavior, fighting, truency, etc.).

How about if you want to play sports, you don't shoot people in the face.

Maybe they'll put that in the rule book next year:

Rule 1.001A - To be eligible for any and all sports teams, you may not shoot another person in the face.

And just leave the rule like that as to not be specific to bb's, bullets, rubber bands or even spit balls
