    Re: Prenuptial agreements

I think the best question to this thread is "do you trust people?"

I sure dont. I trust my logic and insticts. Way to many times in life where i supposed to "trust" someone and was burned for it. I will cover my *** in all aspects of life that i can.

Yeah, exactly. And I do agree that trust is important...just don't agree that a prenup would be a dealbreaker.

I guess my point is that people change, sometimes not for the better...or people make mistakes. They may trust/love you completely now, but some women get married thinking that's what they want and then realize they hate their life (nothing to do with loving the guy)...

          Re: Prenuptial agreements

          I have one.

I told her up front, I have TOO much to lose. She knew that and she agreed that if she were me she would probably do the same. I told her if it is THAT much of a problem then let me know NOW so we can go our separate ways. She agreed to the pre-nup and that was that
          Concrete evidence/videos please

I think you pretty much went about it/summed it up the right way. As long as your up front and honest about it, then it shouldn't be a big deal at all.

I could see it's use if there is a substantial difference in money going into it. However, I'd never get one or ask someone to sign one. Wouldn't marry a gifl if she asked me to sign one. IMO, gives the appearance that you have a parachute in case things get difficult. I would be inherently distrustful of the other person's commitment to the marriage.
Kinda nullifies the "for better, for worse...for richer, for poorer...."
              IMO.

This is pretty much how I see it too.
