My wifes pretty good about being ready on time...it's usually our two year old daughter that makes us late.

I'll give females a break though, they have much more to do to get ready to go out or just to go to work.

I wake up and shower, shave, mess my hair and throw on some clothes in 15 minutes or so.

My wife wakes up, showers, has a lot more surface area to shave, has to put on some makeup, has to brush through her hair to get the knots out, then has to blow dry her hair and then curl it, then get dressed and it takes probably an additional 20-30 minutes than it takes me.

great topic... i find it to be a great thing & proves a point excedingly well if:

she is still getting ready after i'm done - i then sit down at my 360 (which is right in her vanity view) & start a nice long simulation quarter length game of 2k or Madden...

works like a charm or i just simply get some good gaming time in... lol

I am basically talking about situations where you go pick a girl up and she CONSISTENTLY has toy waiting outside for long periods before she comes out. You all have planned this outting, so she KNOWS what time to expect you, yet she always seems to NEVER be ready.

The only times I've ever encountered this is when I would go over to my GF's house to pick her up (before we moved in together), and she was stuck doing something for her mom. Not because she wanted to delay coming with me.

Now, like Trevy, I'm usually far faster to get ready. I generally don't even shave, but she doesn't usually put on a ton of makeup (she doesn't need it).

I am basically talking about situations where you go pick a girl up and she CONSISTENTLY has toy waiting outside for long periods before she comes out. You all have planned this outting, so she KNOWS what time to expect you, yet she always seems to NEVER be ready.

Dealing with SOMEONE that is CONSISTENTLY late (since it is 99.99% male on OS I address the dudes in regards to female punctuality).

Man, I remember when I got my first car. I had the exact same problem with this one girl I used to talk to. To make a long story short though, one night I told her what time I needed her ready and simply told her I had NO time to wait. She giggled and still had me outside 20 minutes later. I got so pissed that I bounced without saying anything. She called me flippin on me, I'm flippin back, blah blah blah. We stopped talking shortly after. I am glad that I did it though.

Luckily I haven't dated one of those chicks who is always hours late...It would piss me off if she left me waiting to meet up with her somewhere, but I date more considerate people I guess. Being a little late sometimes happens to everyone, but if it's regularly over half an hour it's an issue.

Dealing with SOMEONE that is CONSISTENTLY late (since it is 99.99% male on OS I address the dudes in regards to female punctuality).

Here's how you handle it from now on.... You tell her your going to pick her up an hour or so early before you really plan on going.

ex. If your planning on having dinner at 7:30. Tell her that your going to pick her up at 6. Then show up at 7 and you should have time to get to dinner before 7:30.

This way she's either ready or have to wait on you... Oh how the tables have turned.
