    Kid trapped in balloon

Is anybody seeing this on TV. I hope they break on the coverage of this, because I don't think this is going to end well. The kid is 6 yrs old, and the baloon is floating at about 6,000 feet. I sure hope they can save this kid.

      Parents are IDIOTS.

Who builds an "aircraft" that's like a "flying saucer" and doesn't make sure the SIX YEAR OLD can't do something LIKE THIS?

I mean, is this not common sense? Who the hell makes a homemade flying saucer anyway?

Hmm... I wonder if I'll see him pass over head.

MSNBC just said it's 500 feet above the ground and dropping relatively fast. They also said that, as the balloon nears the earth, they'll cut away from the video until they're sure the boy is OK.

I hope somehow they manage to rescue the little boy.

But really like someone said who builds a flying saucer in the first place.

Congrats your in the running for idiots of the year.

Apparently its for some research (father is some weather chaser guy)

Richard Heene is an amateur scientist based out of Fort Collins. He and his partners call themselves the "psyience detectives."

Heene is a storm chaser who collects data to prove that rotating storms create their own magnetic fields.

He began his research in 2002 with lab experiments, then moved on to dust devils. In 2005, he flew a plane around Hurricane Wilma's perimeter.

No sign of him yet. I really hope the kid is just hiding somewhere afraid he is in trouble. My God.

OK, I guess I can kind of understand MAYBE.

But why just have it tied down, ready to go? I just have so many questions about this story. Nothing makes a lot of sense.
