I would imagine this clown has a decent IQ. He just has some mental issues and unfortunately he thought it would be a good idea to stage this hoax and cost the taxpayers thousands of dollars. I think he may have some anger management issues after seeing his temper tantrum when his wife wasn't holding the chord.

I hope he has to do some community service and pay restitution for this. He'll be lucky if protective services don't get involved. The child was obviously upset by this or he wouldn't have barfed on everyone who asked him a question.

I think what upsets me the most is the fact this jackass basically hijacked the news for 24 hours even though there are far more important issues in the world to cover.

What's even worse is they are still covering it...After the kid was found in the garage and there was a hint of this being a hoax, they media should have stopped talking about it. Instead they are the top story on the Today Show and the headline on every website.

Exactly. I'm not trying to make this political but I have to ask the following question. How can the public be informed of the facts and political issues when the lead story on every network is an empty balloon and a couple idiot parents?

Because 24-hour news is entertainment.

If you want to be informed, you have to inform yourself. The clowns on TV aren't going to do it for you, unless you want to be brainwashed by MSNBC or Fox News.

Totally agree about what has been said about the 24-hour cable news coverage of this. It is amazing how much coverage this has gotten. They found a way on CNN to incorporate an update on every show since it first broke. Noteworthy, yes, only news of the day, no.
