For the First time ever. I know its pathetic, I live 4 hours away and this is the first time. I am here to take a test for the NYPD so hopefully that works out. I am here for a few day and am pretty much overloaded with what to see, any ideas.

well I went to my favorite fast food place from Hawaii that has a shop here, just as bad as I remember it. And I went to a pickle shop, pretty much everything on my list. I will probably so do alot of walking for the next few days and take in as much as I can.My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

Might want to check out the metropolitan museum of art. I havent been there in a long time but Im sure its good.

NYC is like any other city in America, except more of everything and things are bigger. The traffic is not as bad as I thought it would be, Honolulu/Waikiki is actually much worse. Its a awesome city that makes me appreciate GTA IV that much more.

When I went to NYC, I didn't dare try to fight the traffic.
I just stayed at a hotel in New Jersey on the rapid transit line about 45 minutes away.
The train stopped right in the heart of Manhattan, cost $11 and save me huge parking and toll fees, not to mention the traffic headaches.
Then I bought an all-day pass for the subway and was set.Comment

I love NYC. If it wasn't such an expensive place to live i'd actually stay there for a few months and explore the city bit by bit. The energy and vibe of the city just crackles.
