Im In NYCFor the First time ever. I know its pathetic, I live 4 hours away and this is the first time. I am here to take a test for the NYPD so hopefully that works out. I am here for a few day and am pretty much overloaded with what to see, any ideas. My dog's butt smells like cookiesTags: None

Just take it one place at a time. You won't see everything in a few days.

well I went to my favorite fast food place from Hawaii that has a shop here, just as bad as I remember it. And I went to a pickle shop, pretty much everything on my list. I will probably so do alot of walking for the next few days and take in as much as I can.My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment

 Re: Im In NYC

NYC is like any other city in America, except more of everything and things are bigger. The traffic is not as bad as I thought it would be, Honolulu/Waikiki is actually much worse. Its a awesome city that makes me appreciate GTA IV that much more.

 Re: Im In NYC

When I went to NYC, I didn't dare try to fight the traffic.
I just stayed at a hotel in New Jersey on the rapid transit line about 45 minutes away.
The train stopped right in the heart of Manhattan, cost $11 and save me huge parking and toll fees, not to mention the traffic headaches.
Then I bought an all-day pass for the subway and was set.Comment

 Re: Im In NYC

I love NYC. If it wasn't such an expensive place to live i'd actually stay there for a few months and explore the city bit by bit. The energy and vibe of the city just crackles. It's hard to explain but it's like the city is alive. The only other city i've been to that feels that way is London.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
