The only time that sticks out is back during last April. I was getting a new Act Card(U of A id card) and this fairly cute girl worked there and was the only there that day other than the girl who worked the front desk. Anyway, the girl said the machine usually takes about 60 seconds to print a new one since I chose not to get a new picture for the ID. A couple minutes later it's still printing and she looks at me and says a joke about the machine taking forever and she smiles in a very flirty way. Right after she says that she does the hair flip thing. But my dumb self just smiles and goes back to texting someone on my phone.


I knew I screwed up 5 minutes after I left. Should've gotten her number and invited her to our parties that weekend(yes, making things worse, my fraternity was having its big spring party making it a perfect setup to get this girl).

Back when I was single, I wouldn't call it "slow" but I passed on alot of stuff that was vague because I just didn't feel like risking something turning awkward or uncomfortable.

I fall under this catagory. About 4 or 5 years ago I would go out in downtown Mobile, AL just about every weekend. Well, one night I met this unbelievably hot girl at the bar who she spoke with a Swedish accent. Well, she went on and on about Sweden and I was like cool, so when do you go back? And she said in about 2 weeks. We ended up talking awhile and went our separate ways and I thought to myself that I would love to date this girl but, she lives in Sweden so, it's never going to happen...

The next weekend I saw her again and we talked for the entire night and I remember thinking how hot her accent was. I ended up asking her again about when she was going back and she said in another week or two. I thought to myself damn I don't have a shot but, we ended up just talking at the bar and going our separate ways.

Finally, I saw her a third straight weekend and I was like "wow, I figured you would be gone by now". Then she grabbed me by my shirt and said "look I'm not Swedish, I'm from here, I thought you would figure that out since I have brown hair and my name is Wendy", here's my number. And I was like "oh......I'M DUMB".....

I ended up going out with her a time or two and really liked her. Unfortunately, it all went downhill when we went downtown together, after I had been on a Moon Shine binge and I ended up making out with two other girls in front of her and leaving with one of my friends.

We didn't talk for about a year or so after that but, I saw her at a concert and we ended up hanging out again a few more times after that. Unfortunately, we were both in relationships then so, it never happened.

So there's your classic example of why not to drink to much and go out to pick up or with girls you like. There's not a doubt in my mind that I could've closed the deal if I wouldn't have been such a Sot at the time.

If I were going to lie about it.... I would said that I hit it... Which I never did.

I was pretty much just an idiot for 3-4 weeks letting a girl trick me with a made up Swedish accent.

Once was in high school. Girl was an incredibly cute country girl who I always hung out with but for whatever reason I was too young and stupid to pick up on hints. I grew up in a tiny, rural farming community and she was always wanting me to come hang out with her over the summer and help her on the tractor (here come the jokes...). Dumb*** me, there isn't a whole lot of help you need on a tractor except to steer the f'ing thing so it was painfully obvious. Plus, there's only one seat . I was stupid and naive and we ended up not talking as much the next year and drifted apart after high school.

Sophomore year in college, I roomed with 3 other guys in an apartment. Four girls lived next to us who we got really close with. We were all getting ready to go out and party and one of my neighbors friends came over to visit for the weekend. I was getting out the shower and heading to my room when I ran into my neighbors and her damn good looking friend who had came over to prefunk. Met her with just my towel on and she totally look me up and down and smiled. Again, total idiot me, didn't pick up on it even when she was hitting on me at the party. I finally closed the deal with her 6 months later .

LMAO! Ya'll got jokes! I'm not even gonna justify what was going through my 18 year old mind at the time. Maybe I didn't wanna read too much into it because I was thinking "no way is this older chick trying to get with me" and I was afraid of getting rejected. If I knew then what I know now, I would have gotten her, even if she really did only want to know about the homework assignments. Also, if I recall correctly, she lived in the suburbs, and I had no car, so I thought it would be pointless (in retrospect, that is no excuse, because more than likely she had one, and probably an apartment too! Boy was I stupid! LOL).

Lets just say a few more of these instances happened to me before I graduated to "pimp" status...LOL.

Being a dumb HS kid, that happens, but I see you learned a little bit by the time you hit college. It took long enough, but at least you eventually redeemed yourself with that second chick.

There were definitely a few chicks that I missed out on when I reminisce about my younger years. My confidence was shaky back then though, so I probably wouldn't have known what to do with them even if I did try to holler. Nowadays I don't miss a damn thing. I don't know when it happened, but eventually my man-senses fully developed at some point. If you're actually listening to what the woman is saying and how she interacts with you, their signals are usually pretty clear. Even when they're not directly trying to let you know they're feeling you, it's the same deal.
