Yes that is true, I miss the barracks life.

I miss the military big time.I loved the Army. I was a lifer. I was going to make them throw me out at 70.

Yes that is true, I miss the barracks life.

Living in the Barracks was easily the best time of my life (Minus all the BS), I lived in the Barracks up until I was an E-4 and the pretty much threw me out. People who say college will be the most fun you will ever have obviously never lived in the Barracks. I wish I never got out of the Army, But I got a medical Discharge. The worst Part is, as soon as I got out the Economy went in the crapper and I am still searching for the job that I will love as much as the Army.

Barracks life was only fun depending where you were stationed at. Try being stationed at Ft Knox, you wont sleep at all with all those m1 tanks and bradleys doing midnight firing missions down range.

You can hear those things firing THROUGHOUT the base.

Yeah took a couple of weeks to learn to tune it out. But above all the base I had the most fun on was Ft Bragg and Ft Benning.

This was interesting:

Kamran Pasha, the author of Mother of the Believers, a new novel relating the story of Islam from the perspective of Aisha, Prophet Mohammed's wife, was told of the al-Awlaki connection from a Muslim friend who is also an officer at Fort Hood. Using the name Richard, the recent convert to Islam described how he frequently prayed with Hasan at the town mosque after Hasan was deployed to Fort Hood in July. They last worshipped together at predawn prayers on the day of the massacre when Hasan "appeared relaxed and not in any way troubled or nervous".

But Richard had previously argued with Hasan when he said that he felt the "war on terror" was really a war against Islam, expressed anti-Jewish sentiments and defended suicide bombings.

"I asked Richard whether he believed that Hasan was motivated by religious radicalism in his murderous actions," Mr Pasha said.

"Richard, with great sadness, said that he believed this was true. He also believed that psychological factors from Hasan's job as an army psychiatrist added to his pathos. The news that he would be deployed overseas, to a war that he rejected, may have pushed him over the edge.

The guy is a terrorist and should be treated as such. I mean how should we be acting? Are we supposed to show sympathy or understanding for what he did? Are we supposed to treat him as a mentally disturbed individual who had no "religious" motives for the shooting? Are we supposed to give a damn about his reasons for doing this?

I don't care about any other aspect about this man other than that he was a terrorist. I don't care about his reasons, his motive, or whatever...the man was a terrorist who opened fire on a military base full of "brothers in arms" that he took an oath to fight for and beside, and he shot them as if they were the enemy.

He's a terrorist, and I don't see why anyone would try and justify, understand, or feel the need to show any sympathy for this piece of ****. He's a terrorist who should be put to death as soon as he's no longer valuable for any information he may contain in regards to any other terrorists and/or plots.

He is a terrorist, Bin Laden's right hand man or not. Affiliated with Al-Qaeda or not. Affilitated with any extremist Muslim group or not. The man is a terrorist.

I'm really getting tired of these animals. I hate these Islamic Radicals with a damn passion. They are the scum of the earth, Everytime I hear one of these morons speak, I just want to vomit, and blast them. They've hurt too many people, Let's eradicate these fools.
