It's 80 degrees in Los Angeles and I went into Target today which was decked out in holiday decorations, music, and products.

It feels like Christmas was about 11 months ago to me.

But I think it's crazy how early companies start pushing their Christmas products. It's not even thanksgiving yet and they've already got all their big Christmas displays up. Ridiculous.

It seems the stores are decorating for the holidays earlier and earlier each passing year. I can picture it now next Spring when I take my son to get his picture with the Easter Bunny.

Photographer: "You know Santa is here too, so if you want to beat the hectic lineups you can get his picture done with him at the same time!"

I saw some out in the beginning of October and I agree, that's probably too soon, but middle of November seems fine to me.

LOL it's never Christmas here then. I've never had a white Christmas. If we ever get snow/sleet it's in late Jan early Feb. Last decent snow we had was almost three years ago, the day before Easter...lol

I don't have a problem with Christmas stuff in the middle of November, but usually my family's waited to put up a tree and lights until the weekend right after Thanksgiving...

I understand it both ways. I'd appreciate it if we could just enjoy Thanksgiving, then put up the Christmas/Holiday stuff, but the only people that make money from Thanksgiving are the food manufacturers... Christmas? Everyone makes money from Christmas. It's just going to get worse from here.

I think it's more that Christmas starts earlier and earlier every year. There are houses around here that had lights up last week.

Yeah, I understand that people like to enjoy the whole season because Christmas itself is only one day but it does get overwhelming to see everything up so early sometimes.
