Again, people just need to accept some personal resonsibility. Its ridiculous to think the casino should have some moral obligation to make sure idiots don't gamble themselves broke, lol. Its called being an adult.

Its no different than me managing my store. If someone wants to come in and max out four credit cards so they can get $4000 worth of clothing, I'm sure as hell not stopping them. Ice got a business to run and profits to gain. If they get themselves into trouble, sorry! Learn a little self control.

Would you sell to him if you knew another store had declined to do so, the $4000 came out of your pocket and not a credit card companies, and it was against the law for you to sell to him while he was obviously drunk (And he was drunk at the time of purchase)?

Could the casino sue him for money if he'd won instead of lost?

This is crazy...he had the money in his account (ie he's not in debt, just won't have as much money in the bank). It's everyone's personal responsibility to gamble only what they can afford to lose.

Where was his family and friends in all this. IMO they're more to blame, not the casinos...

I fail to understand what a credit check would have done, the guy is clean and had the cash. Now he just feels bad he lost it.
